The Holmes Aserve™ Eco-Counter was developed to offer clients the complete
environmentally-friendly and energy-efficient food servery counter. After extensive design, development and trialing, the Aserve™ was launched in 2009 featuring hydrocarbon refrigeration, the unique patented Aplate™ heated display, zero energy plate warming shelves, FSC-approved timber and recycled material. It is 100% recyclable and of modular design to suit individual clients’ requirements.

Trial Results
The Aserve™ Eco-Counter undertook
an extensive trial with a major UK retailer to see how its energy usage compared to standard food servery counters. Holmes Group employed independent energy monitors to constantly log the usage from the existing standard food servery counter and the Aplate™ Eco-Counter in a busy staff restaurant over a period of two weeks. The results that were achieved were outstanding, representing a saving in energy costs of over £3,000 per year and a huge reduction in carbon emissions.
